How to Get Your License
Stephens Real Estate Agent Requirements Needed:
• At least 18 years old
• High school graduate or GED
To Obtain Your License
A 30-hour Pre Exam
To be taken at the pre-license school of your choice
Obtain Finger Prints
Must go to Sheriffs office or Police station to obtain finger prints. Submit finger print card to the KREC. Can be submitted before license application.
Call testing provider for nearest location and to make appointment to take test.
A 30-hour Kansas Real Estate Practice Course
To be taken at the pre-license school of your choice.
Apply for License through a Broker of your choice
Before you apply for your license, classes, fingerprints and test must be completed. You have 6 months to apply after completion of the Kansas Real Estate Practice Course and or passing test.
Twelve Continuing Education Hours
Provided at different locations see KAR (Kansas Association of Realtors) web site for class schedules, locations, and cost. Agents renew their license based upon the first letter of their last name.
